The performance “It’s a Crime Not to Love Champagne” is a life-affirming comedy in one act and three scenes. Regina, a successful and elegant woman, has experienced much in life but has never been to Champagne, the homeland of her favorite drink. However, she loves champagne dearly, and her entire friend group is involved in planning and supporting the trip. Regina’s favorite saying, “I am only old when I spend more on medicine than on champagne,” sets the tone for the entire story. Yet, in the heart of this self-aware and somewhat flamboyant woman, there is certainly room for more delicate feelings. She is forced to realize that butterflies in the stomach can arise not only from champagne. This is the story of a life-affirming woman’s journey to Champagne, which could change her life.
The led role of Regina is always played by the dazzling Merle Palmiste!
The performance takes place on December 28, 2024, starting at 6:15 PM (doors open at 6:00 PM).
Guests will be offered a glass of genuine French champagne (included in the ticket price).
